Antibacterial and Cytotoxic Activity of Mentha arvensis L. Leaves Methanolic Extract In vitro

Treatment with herbal drugs is considered one of the oldest and safest methods for treating various diseases. Mentha arvensis a medicinal plant used worldwide in pharmaceutical industry its antibacterial, anticancer, antiallergic, anti-inflammatory properties. In present study, antibacterial activity methanolic extract M. leaves was tested at different concentrations (50, 100, 150, 200 µg/ml) against bacteria isolated from human burn wound infections, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae Staphylococcus aureus.
